Skin Territories explores the largest human organ as a living territory of memory, affect, identity and negotiation. Seen as border, archive and symbolic surface, it reflects social, racial, aesthetic and personal tensions.

The project unfolds through research with the National Institute of Materials Physics, Mindlifeline – International Neuroscience Research Association and Minitremu Unlearning Space, including four public talks on migration and race, gender identity, skin biochemistry and sensory processes.

Taking shape as a contemporary art exhibition at Atelierele Scânteia, curated by Marian Palie, the project concludes with artistic perspectives on this human territory, placing skin within a network of artistic, social and ecological meanings.
